About Me
I am trained in Pluralistic Counselling and my approach to therapy is largely informed by pluralistic ideas.
Pluralism is a relatively new way of thinking about therapy. It is based on the idea that there isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ therapeutic orientation that holds all the answers to understanding ourselves and others. Instead, pluralism suggests that we are likely to want and benefit from different things within the therapeutic relationship at different points during the therapeutic process.

As a Pluralistic therapist, I value your individuality and unique needs for therapy. During our sessions, we will engage in gentle and explorative conversations about your life and past or current experiences and how these can impact your current feelings, relationships and views you hold of yourself. I offer a range of activities to support you in your goals for therapy which may include psychoeducation, validation and at times I may gently challenge you to aid your realisations and learning.
In my work, I endeavour to support you gain insight and understand your experiences in a way that makes sense and is meaningful to you.
